With a depth of conducting audits across different sectors and contexts, QSI can ensure independence in audits and value for money.
When choosing an Internal Auditor it is essential that the auditor is completely independent. This can be tricky for small to medium sized companies. QSI regularly assist clients with their internal audit schedule and programme of audits. We will work with the in – company person who obviously knows the company’s processes and systems well.
We can assist clients in a number of ways such as:
- Creating an audit checklist in advance of the audit
- Auditing Suppliers or Contractors
- Providing a presence during a Customer or Certification Body audit etc.
Typically audits are arranged a few weeks in advance. The audit starts with an opening meeting and then the audit proper. On conclusion, a closing meeting is held which is then followed by a written report. Clients may request QSI to conduct a series of audits over say 1 – 2 days or may want to stagger the audits over a period of time to minimise work interruptions.
